fortiswitch_switch_lldp_settings – Global LLDP configuration in Fortinet’s FortiSwitch

Synopsis

  • This module is able to configure a FortiSwitch device by allowing the user to set and modify switch_lldp feature and settings category. Examples include all parameters and values need to be adjusted to datasources before usage. Tested with FOS v7.0.0

Requirements

The below requirements are needed on the host that executes this module.

Parameters

  • enable_log - Enable/Disable logging for task. type: bool required: false default: False
  • member_path - Member attribute path to operate on. type: str
  • member_state - Add or delete a member under specified attribute path. type: str choices: present, absent
  • switch_lldp_settings - Global LLDP configuration. type: dict
    • device_detection - Enable/disable dynamic updates of LLDP neighbor devices to fortilink. type: str choices: disable, enable
    • fast_start_interval - Frequency of LLDP PDU transmit for the first 4 packets on link up(seconds). type: int
    • management_interface - Primary management interface to be advertised. Source system.interface.name. type: str
    • status - Enable/disable LLDP. type: str choices: disable, enable
    • tx_hold - Number of TX intervals before local LLDP data expires(tx-hold x tx-interval = packet TTL). type: int
    • tx_interval - Frequency of LLDP PDU transmit (seconds). type: int
